For founders & start-ups

The commercial co-founder you can't yet afford to hire.

You're carrying strategy, marketing, sales and growth on top of building the thing itself. A Founder's Partner is a senior commercial operator in your corner — one who's done it before — on terms that suit a start-up's cash.

Sound familiar?

You didn't start a company to become the whole C-suite.

You're wearing every commercial hat — marketing, sales, finance, ops — and none of them well enough for your liking.

There's no one senior to pressure-test the big decisions with. It's lonely at the top.

You're flying on instinct, without the numbers to know what's actually working.

You know you need senior help — but you can't justify a six-figure executive hire yet.

What a Founder's Partner does

One experienced operator, across the whole commercial picture.

Commercial strategy

What to do next, and just as importantly, what to ignore.

Marketing & growth

The engine to attract and convert customers, built right the first time.

Sales & pipeline

Turning interest into revenue — the process, not just the hustle.

Fundraising-readiness

The numbers and the story that get you taken seriously by investors.

A sounding board

Someone senior in your corner for the decisions that keep you up at night.

The bench behind them

Fractional CFO, COO, tech and vetted talent, tapped in only when you need them.

Built for a start-up's reality

Priced for where you actually are.

Built specifically for founders and early-stage teams — and designed to grow with you. (Already an established business? Our full retainer ladder will fit you better.)

Start small

As little as a day a month, from $1,500/mo — our standard senior day rate, just fewer days to suit your stage. Real seniority, start-up budget.

Scale as you grow

Add days as you raise and grow — right up the ladder to a full Growth or Delivery Partner.

Cash, equity — or both

Start with a simple monthly fee. For the right fit, we'll structure part of it as equity or a success fee — so we win when you win.

One partner, not five

One senior operator who owns the whole picture — not a stack of freelancers to manage.

How it works

Start where it hurts most. Grow from there.

Founder questions

The things founders ask first.

How much does a Founder's Partner cost?+
It's flexible and start-up-friendly — from about $1,500 a month for roughly a day of senior commercial time, scaling up as you grow. No six-figure executive salary, and no lock-in beyond the initial term.
Do you take equity?+
Not usually — a simple monthly fee is the norm, and the safest option for both of us. But for founders we genuinely believe in, we're open to structuring part of it as equity or a success-based fee — always by a separate written agreement, decided case by case. It's entirely your call.
How is this different from a mentor or advisor?+
A mentor gives you advice and leaves you to act on it. A Founder's Partner rolls up their sleeves and does the commercial work alongside you — strategy, marketing, sales and growth — with access to a wider bench of fractional CFOs, COOs, tech and talent when you need them.
What if I can only afford a little right now?+
That's exactly who this is built for. Start small — as little as a day a month — get real senior help where it counts most, and add time only as the business grows into it.
